On going Projects
Alban Dereyer
Le Concert Impromptu returns to pop music with a young song-writer , Alban Dereyer, influenced by the British pop of the 60s but who also has cultivated the art of songs of the baroque age. Le Concert Impromptu offers a good covering to Alban Dereyer's compositions, mellow tones, intense rhythm, pungency sometimes, to accompany at best the words of the young inspired singer.

Opéra de Bernard de Vienne sur un livret d'Yves Sarda - Création 2011
Le Concert Impromptu has been able to evolve from a so called ballroom music to contemporary music. At the same time, the quintet offers productions of its performances in a global vision of the act of creation. It is through this development, linked also with a reflexion upon the relationship with the public that was born the project do create a contemporary opera. This milestone underlines the long complicity with the composer Bernard de Vienne, reinforces Le Concert Impromptu as a creation laboratory and also confirms the actual nature of opera which, by essence must result in a global show crossing music and literature, intimately mixing scenic and musical writing.
